Constitution and Citizenship Day Event

What is the Constitution? Why do we have one? Who wrote it?

Come and learn more about the U.S. Constitution and how it affects you! We will also draft our own constitution! Finally, we will delve into the ideas of civics and civility. This program will fulfill some of the requirements of the GS Civics badges. Any troop interested in completing the civics badges can schedule those workshops at this event or at a later time.

Participants will each receive a pocket copy of the Constitution, and a Certificate of participation.

$5.00 per girl. This will cover the cost of the pocket Constitutions and light refreshments. Solon Library has a big, free parking lot.

Leaders should plan to stay just in back of room in case girls have any issues.
