HerBrina, THE Amazing

I just recently self-published a book called HerBrina, THE Amazing!

HerBrina, THE Amazing is a sweet, sassy, smart little black girl who LOVES her name. She is starting a new school and is nervous to introduce herself to her class. Because EVERYONE has trouble saying her name. That doesn’t stop her from using her superpower of confidence to teach her new friends and teacher how to correctly say her name. Even with a little spice added to it!

I would do a book reading and activities surrounding the meaning and history of our names. With the activities, the girls will draw/write on worksheets that they can keep which will build confidence and pride surrounding their names. I also provide giveaways after my session. I also encourage the girls that they can become authors and illustrators as well.

This can be offered online as well as where the Troop meets for their meetings/gatherings. Available weeknights after 6pm, Saturday afternoons, and Sunday all day.
