YSU Girl Scouts Day – National Girls and Women in Sports Day, Feb. 2

Dear Girl Scouts,

Join the Penguins on Saturday, February 2nd, 2019 for “Girl Scouts Day & National Girls and Women in Sports Day.” It’s a great way to meet new Scouts, celebrate women who work in sports, learn from leaders in the area, watch our red-hot women’s basketball team, and have a ton of fun! Each scout that attends will receive a special “YSU Scout Patch.” You have the option to attend the pre-game panel and take part in the pre-game high five tunnel. Don’t miss the chance to take part in this awesome experience. Reserve your tickets TODAY as space is limited for the sports panel.

As part of the celebration of National Girls & Women in Sports Day, a national observance celebrating the extraordinary achievements of women and girls in sports, YSU is hosting a panel discussion in Beeghly Center at 11:00am. This event will be reserved for the first 200 guest who RSVP through Andrew Wingard. Following the panel discussion, the women’s basketball team will be hosting Detroit Mercy at 1:00pm.
