Activities with Majestic Care of Sagamore Hills Assisted Living
Majestic Care of Sagamore Hills offers you an opportunity to work with older adults who are living in our assisted living community. Opportunities to simply visit with them or to do specific activities with them are available. Activities include but not limited to simply visiting, crafting, baking, reminiscing, gardening, walking, nature watching, games, reading, teaching, singing, etc! We would love to share your skills and hobbies with our awesome residents. Really anything that is your favorite thing to do is of interest to share with them! The more unique the better! 🙂 There will also be times we have specific events that we may need a helping hand with for setting up, tearing down, or helping work a station. Thank you for considering.
We are flexible 7 days/week.
This opportunity will be indoor and/or outdoor at Majestic Care of Sagamore Hills Assisted Living community at 997 W Aurora Rd., Northfield, OH. Our building has a parking lot with ample parking in front of the building and around the side. There is no fee for parking.
There will typically be zero cost. The only time there could be a cost would be if there are specific materials needed or something of that nature or if you choose to purchase something. Nothing specific to bring unless the activity you choose requires a special item or piece of equipment. Example: musical instrument, specific craft supplies, specific book.
Your caregiver/adult is not required to attend with you, but it may be a good idea for the first time or two to ensure your comfortability with the building/older adult population. There will be a dedicated staff member that is overseeing the activity so it is not required unless you would feel more comfortable with it, we will welcome it.
Nothing specific for attire as a general rule, but closed toe shoes are a good idea as we have older adults with walkers, wheelchairs, and canes. If it is an outdoor event, seasonal shoes appropriate for the weather would be needed.
