Sonrise Family Farm U-Pick Flowers

Are you creative? Do you like flowers? Does spending time in the garden with friends sound like fun? If you answered “Yes!” to any of these questions, then coming out to our cozy little u-pick flower farm is for you! Girls and adults will learn about the different flowers we have here in our garden, how to properly cut flowers and how to make them last before heading out to harvest their favorites and arrange them to their liking! Our flower varieties include sunflowers, zinnias, snapdragons, dill and more! Our entire garden is pesticide-free and all flowers are kid-friendly. In fact, most are edible! Picnic tables are provided for working with the flowers as well as picnicking afterward. We would love to introduce you to our flock of laying hens as well!

We are available most weekdays and some Saturday afternoons between 10am and 6pm July and August as well as Saturday afternoons in September and October.

The cost of the u-pick flower experience is $8 per person and includes 1.5 hours of private picking time in the garden as well as the mason jar bouquet you will get to design yourself and take home to enjoy!

1 adult per 6 girls is required for Daisies or Brownies to attend to allow for the most safe and enjoyable experience for our younger guests. All other levels of Girl Scouts require just one adult per group.

Participants should wear clothing suitable for summer weather. Hats and/or sunscreen are recommended.

All supplies are provided and included in the cost of the experience Lemonade and/or tea will be provided as well. Groups may bring snacks to enjoy while they are here.
