Trunk or Treat at Valley CDJR of the Falls

Trunk or Treat: Battle of the Trunks is a fun opportunity for Girl Scouts to put their creativity, teamwork, and leadership skills into action while participating in a Halloween celebration for local families! Girl Scout troops will work together to choose a theme, decorate a vehicle, and create a fun and memorable trunk for trick-or-treaters. Girls can help brainstorm their theme, plan their theme, plan their decorations, work as a team to bring their vision to life, and interact with families during the event. Troops may bring their own vehicle or use a vehicle provided by Valley CDJR of the Falls. The decorated trunks will compete in our Battle of the Trunks, where event attendees will vote for their favorite. The winning participant will receive a $1,000 grand prize to put toward their organization! This is a great opportunity for girls to practice, teamwork, communication, creativity, planning, leadership, and community engagement while having a fun Halloween experience. Most importantly, they’ll get to be part of bringing local families together for a safe and exciting community event.

It is FREE to participate, all that we ask is that participates are responsible for providing their own trunk decorations and either candy/and or giveaways for the trick-or-treaters. Valley CDJR of the Falls can provide a dealership vehicle for participates to decorate or participates can use their own.

Caregivers and adult troop leaders are encouraged to attend and participate alongside the girls. Adult supervision is appreciated to help support the girls throughout the event, including with decorating, handing out candy or giveaways, and interacting with attendees. Troops should follow their normal Girl Scout adult-to-girl supervision requirements.

Parking is free and will be at our dealership.

There is no specific clothing requirement for this event. Halloween costumes are strongly encouraged but are not required! Since the event takes place in late October and will be outdoors, participants should dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable clothing suitable for spending time outside.
