Don’t be caught in the dark for the upcoming eclipse! Join us at Kent State University on April 3 to make your own eclipse viewer, ensuring you catch every breathtaking moment of the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. Participants will also have opportunities to explore the solar system via augmented and virtual reality, and craft eclipse-themed buttons and tote bags.
Free parking is available in the R16 parking lot located behind Verder Hall at 150 Midway Drive Kent, Ohio 44242. Midway Dr. is accessible from E. Main St. At the first stop sign after turning onto Midway Drive from Main Street, turn right onto Terrace Dr. and then an immediate left turn into the R16 lot. Once you are parked in the lot, you can take the stairs or the walkway down to White Hall.
Caregivers/adults are welcome to participate in the event and are required to stay. This is a drop-in event with make-and-take stations. KSU staff are leading the activities at the stations but are not serving as chaperones.
