Challenge Island Brownie Badge Workshops

Challenge Island STEM/STEAM workshops fulfill several Brownie Badge and Journey requirements. Girls work in teams to take on a variety of STEM challenges using only the basic materials provided to them. Girls will receive a Challenge Island fun patch for each workshop they complete. In addition to STEM/STEAM concepts, Challenge Island helps develop critical social and emotional skills such as leadership, communication, teamwork, critical thinking, problem solving and public speaking.

Brownie workshops include
– Triple Automotive Badge Workshop (2 hours)
– Inventor Badge Workshop (1 hour)
– Budding Entrepreneur Badge Workshop (2 hours)
– Home Scientist Badge Workshop (2-3 hours)
– Triple Mechanical Engineering Badge Workshop (2 hours)
– Making Games Badge Workshop (2 hours)
– Think Like An Engineer Journey Workshop (3 hours)

We bring the workshop to a location of your choice on a date and time that work best for your troop.
