2026 CYCE High School Summer Internship Program
The Cleveland Clinic Center for Youth & College Education (CYCE) is pleased to announce that the 2026 CYCE High School Summer Internship Program (SIP) application is now OPEN!
Our paid, seven-week summer internship program is an excellent opportunity for high school students to gain hands-on experience, connect with Cleveland Clinic healthcare experts through mentorship, and develop various professional skills that will help them succeed in the future. A flyer with additional details has been attached for your review and eligibility criteria can also be found below.
Program Eligibility Criteria:
- Be in 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade at time of application.
- Be at least 15 years of age by June 1, 2026.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in a clinical, nonclinical or advanced technology-focused healthcare career.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale, preferred.
- Be a U.S. citizen, noncitizen national or legal permanent resident.
- Must be able to attend the entire program from June 8 through July 28, 2026.
- Live AND attend school in one of the following Northeast Ohio counties: Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark or Summit.
Nonclinical (Louis Stokes) specific residency requirements:
Live in one of the following Northeast Ohio cities: Bedford, Bedford Heights, Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, East Cleveland, Euclid, Garfield Heights, Maple Heights, Richmond Heights, South Euclid or Warrensville Heights.
Interested students should visit clevelandclinic.org/internships for full application instructions. Applications must be completed by Monday, Feb. 2, at 4:00PM EST. No late submissions will be accepted!
Students, parents, and educators who would like to learn more are encouraged to attend one of our 30-minute information sessions, where we will provide a brief overview of the High School Summer Internship Program and answer any questions.
