⛳ Putting with Police is Back — And It’s Bigger Than Ever!
Mark your calendars, First Tee – Greater Akron is inviting all area youth groups, summer camps, and families to our FREE community event, Putting with Police, on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 11:00am to 1:30pm at Mud Run Golf Course & Driving Range (2000 S. Hawkins Ave, Akron, OH.) We want YOUR youth group, camp and/or family there!
This signature community event brings together local kids and teens for a fun-filled day alongside officers from area law enforcement agencies.
More than just a few golf games, it’s an opportunity to break down barriers, spark conversations, and build real connections between youth and the people who serve our community.
From golf games and golf cart rides to a dunk tank, a gaming truck, and a live DJ, there was no shortage of smiles. Guests will also be treated to tricks from a live magician, Kona Ice and pizza.
It’s an event that kids talk about long after it’s over — and one that makes a real difference in how young people see and relate to law enforcement.
We’d love to see your group or family join us this year. Whether you lead a youth sports team, after-school program, scout troop, or faith-based group, or a family, this event is open to all.

We do require an adult to be present at the event. This event covers a large area with many activities and we want to insure that everyone is safe. All First Tee – Greater Akron volunteers, staff and board members have been background checked and SafeSport trained.
