Learn to Square Dance

This is a 2-hour square dance “demo” session where people who have never square danced before can join experienced square dancers and learn enough steps to be able to actually do a square dance!

A square dance “caller” (Rex Parker) will teach beginning square dance “calls” to everyone in attendance and will play music and sing songs that go along with the steps he is calling. Everyone agrees this is lots of fun!

This demo will take place in the Jr. Fair Building, #38, at the Cuyahoga County Fair, near Gate 5. There is parking just outside the Gate which can be reached from the Bagley Road Entrance (19201 Bagley Rd.). Parking is free.

The demo is free although there may be an entrance fee for the Fair itself.

According to Fair protocol, all youth under the age of 18 are required to be accompanied by a sober and competent person, aged 21 or older.
