Screening of the documentary “Cookie Queens” at the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival.
Film Synopsis: Peddling a few boxes of Girl Scout cookies in one’s neighborhood is no match for these four determined young girls in the high-pressure game that is cookie selling. An $800 million industry, these Girl Scouts are striving to sell thousands of boxes of cookies with an opportunity to put a little something in their own pockets beyond profit for their troops. The lens is focused on each family’s journey as they navigate the ups and downs of one of America’s most-cherished rituals.
Caregivers are encouraged to attend as there will be no chaperones.
