We will focus on creating baby items, baby burp cloths, crinkle toys, and NICU dollies. Girls can help cut fabric, assemble kits, and use a sewing machine to help us make these items which will then be donated to local pregnancy centers.
Girls can come anytime between 10am – 4pm and stay as long as they are able. A leader, parent or responsible adult will need to accompany the girls.
Girls and adults should bring their own lunch, snack, or water bottle.
Sew4Service will provide all the fabric and supplies. We will have some sewing machines, but the number of machines is limited, so you are encouraged to bring your own sewing machine and sewing supplies.
Girls may also bring a nonperishable food item for the Euclid Hunger Center which is also located in the Shore Cultural Centre.
This event will be in the Community Room in the Shore Cultural Centre in Euclid, Ohio. The Community Room is located on the first floor. Go up the stairs and follow the signs to the Community Room. There is ample parking around the building.
The event is free but we do ask that you register so we know how many to expect. Register through the Sew4Service website link: https://www.sew4service.org/event-details/girl-scouts-sew-4-service-day-euclid-chapter.
